What is Included?
When you register for Road to Banff, you and your team will receive the opportunity to pitch in front of VCs and Angels, a video of your pitch and feedback, an invitation to a Founders and Funders networking event, educational workshops, and much more!
Pitch Format
Each company has a 20 minute timeslot, including a 10 min pitch and 10 min Q&A. The first round of pitches will be closed to the public. There will be a minimum of three judges (including angel investors, VCs, professional services providers) per pitch session. The top 10 companies will make it to a final public pitch off with the winners announced at the Canada 3.0 closing ceremony.
Eligibility
If you are an ICT, Life Sciences, or Clean Tech company with revenues less than $5 million and outside funding of less than $2.5 million, then you are eligible to compete.
Judging
Companies will be judged on the following categories:
- Compelling product or service with a clearly defined value proposition
- Viable business model
- Entrepreneurs who demonstrate an ability to execute on their plans
- Overall presentation
